The challenge
The Sephardi Community – a London based religious membership organisation wanted to expand and strengthen the projects and services it provided, however generating unrestricted income in addition to membership fee had always been a challenge. Additionally, there was no clear case for support or fundraising focus.
What we did
- A feasibility study was undertaken to understand the potential opportunities from within the existing membership base and the wider community.
- Intensive research and prospecting to learn more deeply the connections and fundraising possibilities from the membership
- Working in partnership with volunteer fundraisers, a strategy was created and implemented, based around a series of intimate dinners and events.
The result
The creation of a major giving programme and other sustainable fundraising programmes, resulting in securing £650,000 of pledges for the charity.
